The Studio

Bluō Studio creates limited-edition objects at the intersection of art and everyday life. Each piece is produced in small batches, with close attention to material, balance, and form.

Bluō comes from Esperanto, meaning blue, reflecting openness and calm.

Bluō Studio is led by Los Angeles–based artist and designer Michele Bury. Her background in design informs a disciplined approach to composition, while her studio practice embraces hand-painted surfaces and subtle variation.

Reflections

Reflections is the first collection from Bluō Studio, a series of small sculptural forms in painted wood and paper. Each piece is handmade in Los Angeles, combining shape, color, and composition. Emotions made visible.

Drawing from modern art, from Matisse's cut-outs to Arp's organic forms, and from the natural world, the collection explores how color and shape carry feeling and meaning into everyday space. The collection is also available as limited-edition art prints.
